This piece was handcrafted with exceptional attention to detail by the Philippart family. It combines the renowned quality of a Reuge Sainte-Croix movement with Philippart’s theatrical miniature artistry. The couple is dressed in period-inspired attire with rich fabric costumes and delicate decorative accents, creating the feel of a miniature ballroom scene. The faces are made from hand-painted white beans, the clothing is made from silk, delicate trims, and lace, and the hair is made from sheep’s wool. The woman’s hat is adorned with real dried florals. These pieces were sold by luxury stores including Hermès, Louis Vuitton, and Rochas.
