Beautiful French mother of pearl dance (Le bal) booklet with finger ring. Pages are made of bone.
During the 19th century, dance cards were used at Victorian-era balls. A woman would receive a dance card and gentlemen would ask her to dance. If she accepted, she would write his name in her booklet.
Measurements: Total length is 6". Card measures 3 1/8". Chain measures 2 1/2".
