This exceptional 19th-century French opaline glass centerpiece set is one of those I know I’ll never encounter again. Eight individual opaline pieces join together to form an oval centerpiece, each one beautifully accented with gilt detailing and delicate white enamel florals with bow-swag motifs.
The two posy vases can be displayed at either end as part of the complete piece, or removed to allow the remaining pieces to further nest together. This stunning opaline can be used in its original purpose as a lavish floral centerpiece, for elegant desk organization or as a vanity make-up display. Each piece can be separated to serve a purpose of its own.
